Costume ghost rider12/8/2023 Hoping it doesn't decide to just break off for no reason, but you never know lol. I have yet to test the new seat out, but I plan on doing another ride at the park on Halloween day for fun, so I will find out then. Added a new locking system for the handlebars where a pin can be inserted when parked so the front tire won't rotate, which then can be removed for riding. Also needed to add even more flames off the back end so it didn't look so silly with that extra large seat on there. Along with the new seat I had to make a new gas tank since the old one no longer fit, and I lost the cap to it on the last ride. it was.it was not a pleasant following week. ![]() The original seat was far too small and caused what professional bike riders call "Monkey Butt". It's mounted on a small plate near the front of the seat, granted it is welded and bolted for extra measures, but it's still kinda "bouncy". I've also replaced the seat with an actual motorcycle seat for far better comfort, though the mounting system has me kind of worried. ![]() Maybe could've gone an extra 5-6 miles still.Īnyways, this is an update post, so what's new? As mentioned before the handlebars are now steel and can take far more abuse without fear of breaking. And yes, I was extremely sore afterwards, but surprisingly not tired. ![]() On one trip I even managed to ride around the entire Peninsula, a 13.5 mile ride. I did eventually purchase some new steel handlebars and got them attached, and took 2 or 3 trips this year out to the local state park to ride around and confused the heck out of the locals. Huh.could've sworn I did an update a while back after fixing the handlebars, but I guess not.
